Dating from the last quarter of the Victorian era, this highly decorative, and exquisitely detailed piece of antique door furniture would grace any door. Of nickel plated cast brass, the door knob sits centrally between two key hole escutcheons with swinging covers (making it suitable for left or right hand fitting), the link being made by superbly detailed swags. The reverse accepts an imperial standard 5/16 in. (7mm) square lock spindle, and the knob turns freely on it's back plate. There are four countersunk fixing holes hidden by the escutcheon covers.
