Dating from circa 1820, with the typical Georgian plain sides to the case edge, tapering to top and bottom. It has the benefit of an interior privacy bolt which is operated by the brass finger slide seen to the lower left edge. The latch is turned by a pair of door knobs (suitable ones can be found here) and accepts an imperial standard size 5/16" (8mm) square lock spindle. Complete with it's original wire bow key and keep. The case and keep have been re-finished with a satin black powder coating. This has been fully refurbished and is supplied in full working order ready to fit.
